Job Title: Live Event Operations and Venue Coordinator (Full Time - Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Live Event Operations and Venue Coordinator to join our team at Millennial Events. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless event execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Venue Coordination: You will communicate with various venues to confirm availability and negotiate contracts. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.
  • Audio-Visual (AV) Coordination: With excellent communication skills, you will work closely with venue staff or external vendors to confirm technical requirements, including microphones, lighting, sound systems, and video equipment.
  • Sponsor Coordination: You will liaise with event sponsors to collect branding assets and promotional materials, ensuring timely revisions and feedback.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Effective communication is crucial in this role, as you will keep clients, sponsors, and vendors informed about project timelines, deliverables, and revisions.
  • Operational Support: Collaborating with our graphics and production teams, you will assist in troubleshooting last-minute changes or issues to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Cultural Flexibility: As part of our global events team, you will work in alignment with Eastern Standard Time (EST) to manage North American clients and events, communicating fluently in English and effectively in Hindi and Gujarati as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Event Management, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset but not required.
  • Language Skills: Exceptional English communication skills, with fluency in Hindi and Gujarati.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of AV requirements for live events, including audio, visual, lighting, and video equipment.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in event management, venue coordination, or AV logistics is desirable.
  • Experience working with American or North American clientele is an asset.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and attention to detail abilities.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
