Wind Energy Specialist - Structural Integrity

Job Purpose:

In this critical role, you will validate the site-specific benefits of our upgrade portfolio while ensuring the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.

You will collaborate in a global and cross-functional team, acting as an interface between customers, service regions, and headquarters. Your direct impact on business success is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify existing/planned wind farms using internal tools to confirm compatibility and structural integrity.
  • Assess site-specific wind conditions, apply mechanical load mitigation strategies, and initiate upgrades.
  • Support sales by creating benefit calculations and driving validation campaigns.
  • Collaborate with service regions and after-sales colleagues to convince customers and stakeholders.
  • Have a measurable impact on global Service business unit performance.

Career Requirements:

  • Completed university studies in engineering or business/economics with a strong technical background.
  • 5-10 years of experience in wind/site assessments, mechanical loads department, or similar roles in the wind energy industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, holistic approach, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Good team player and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
