Chief Data Infrastructure Specialist

The role involves designing, building and maintaining robust data systems. This requires cross-functional collaboration and adherence to highest standards of data quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, processing and storage.
  • Build and optimize data architectures and models for effective data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources into warehouses and lakes.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality and security across all systems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Document data processes, architectures and data flow diagrams.
  • Implement and maintain data integration solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in data integration, processing and storage.
  • Knowledge of data optimization architecture, data process and data flow.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms and their services.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.

Other Relevant Information:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
