Portfolio Manager: Investment Analysis Role

As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing investment portfolios. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in investment operations and possess strong quantitative and qualitative skills.

The role involves:

  • Deal Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of investment opportunities, including loan portfolio purchases, loan stratification, historical performance reviews, price modeling, and credit facilities.
  • Performance Analysis and Valuation Support: Track monthly performance of positions, collect and cleanse data tapes, track expected vs. actual performance variances, flag and identify deviations from assumptions, and assist the finance operations team and valuation committee in updating valuation models.
  • Portfolio Management & Monitoring: Monitor covenants, audit support, review draw requests for compliance, monitor Credit Facility positions on Cascade Debt and Excel BBC models, request information from counterparties, perform data and calculation audits, pull/request portfolio tapes and Borrowing Base Certificates (BBCs), review portfolio tapes, cleanse/standardize data, and flag abnormalities.

Key qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in investment operations.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills sets.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (fluent English).
  • Nice to have: experience with business intelligence tools such as QuickSight or PowerBI.
