About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to contribute to the stability, performance, and scalability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high system availability
  • Implement monitoring and alerting processes for IT services
  • Automate repetitive tasks such as deployments and scaling
  • Respond to outages and incidents (on-call duties)
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive postmortems
  • Measure and optimize system performance metrics
  • Support reliable and safe code releases
  • Ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry standards
  • Collaborate with technology teams for new requirements and deliver them

Technical Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and configuration management
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and scripting languages
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and incident management experience
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization

Soft Skills Required:

  • Linux/Unix administration and process management
  • Scripting for automation using Bash and Python
  • Understanding of filesystems, memory, CPU, and kernel basics
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and virtualization technologies
  • Networking and protocol knowledge
  • Debugging latency and connectivity issues
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Working knowledge of web servers and load balancers

Qualifications - Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Telecom, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering
