Job Title: Digital Tag Implementation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled digital tag implementation specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing digital tagging and analytics measurement strategies across our portfolio of digital products.

This is a key role in ensuring the global management of visitors to external marketing websites, and we require someone with a strong technical background and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the entire process of understanding metric tagging plans, testing, maintaining, and auditing website tags.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or platform issues and ensure adherence to analytics and measurement best practices.

• Validate and debug implementations, and follow up to resolve any issues that may arise.

• Centralize digital tracking, analytics, and data quality.

• Direct data layer implementation on new sites and pages across our digital products.

• Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the tagging environment by manually and automatically monitoring tags.

• Own all Analytics and Tag Manager environments & processes.

• Design, development, and support of advanced platform implementations of Analytics and Tag Manager as well as tagging, testing, and ad hoc troubleshooting.

• Create and maintain documentation regarding data layer implementation requirements.

• Participate in QA/UAT testing to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria.

• Work with developers as needed to communicate what an implementation is intended to accomplish.

• Work closely with various teams to set up designs of tags, measurements, monitor metrics, and analyze implementation success.

• Diagnose problems with existing platform configurations and tags and make suggestions for improvement.

• Maintain working knowledge of industry best practices and changes in analytics platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar web analytics tools, and tag management tools.

• BA or BS, preferably in a Business, Marketing, or analytical discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in industry and/or similar positions.

• Well-versed in creating and deploying Analytics & Marketing Tags using a Tag Management system.

• Ability to work quickly, efficiently multi-task, and deliver commitments in a timely fashion.

• Proven analytical and technical skills, strong people skills, great attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the drive to always learn and grow.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Collaborative when working with data service and marketing teams.

• Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making.

• Strong written and verbal communication required to liaise with stakeholders, global teams, and delivery teams.

• Fluent in English.

• Desire to learn new tools and technologies and ability to analyze the applicability of such to add value to the firm.

• Prior experience with a Content Management System (AEM, Drupal, WordPress) would be beneficial.

• Knowledge and expertise on JavaScript/JQuery, HTML/HTML5, CSS, and data analytics would be advantageous.

• Data analytics certifications related to the role would be a plus.
