Senior Financial Operations Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial operations for our business units, ensuring timely and accurate financial close, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial planning and analysis.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting & Reporting:
    • Lead the handling of end-to-end accounting processes, including P2P, R2R, O2C, and ensure consistency in accounting practices.
    • Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial close, including completion of books of accounts – P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
    • Enforce company accounting policies, practices, and internal controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP (Ind-AS).
    • Responsible for delivery of financial statements, including month-end review, finalization of P&L accounts, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify aging and take suitable actions.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Support specific business units with end-to-end finance operational support.
    • Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for the specific BU.
    • Provide timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of results to the business.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations, to ensure alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including investors, partners, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Skills & Qualifications:
  • Start-up experience and scaling up a start-up through funding efforts preferred.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and impeccable integrity.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, and reporting software.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
