- Develop and oversee a strong distribution network by identifying, negotiating, and solidifying partnerships with distributors.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for newly appointed distributors.
- Set sales targets for primary and secondary markets, as well as the number of retail stores to be opened each month, and achieve these targets for each distributor under your supervision.
- Oversee sales to distributors and subsequently to retail stores to meet sales targets.
- Coordinate distributor invoicing and timely dispatch through the company.
- Manage collections and maintain track of outstanding amounts from distributors while following FIFO principles.
- Regularly confirm distributor balances and ensure daily sales reports, weekly inventory and sales reports, and monthly sales vs. achievement reports are submitted with aging information.
- You will be directly responsible for opening and servicing high-performing retail outlets.
- Evaluate and optimize product placement and model mix for focused products.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to the sales team to achieve targeted results, monitor their performance, and motivate them to improve.
- Monitor distributor inventory levels in terms of SKUs and stock.
- Effectively merchandise and display company products across the area.
- Analyze and summarize sales and inventory reports according to provided timelines, and report competition activity to senior management.
- Implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives effectively.
