Job Title: Senior Revenue Manager

 

Job Summary:

The primary objective of this position is to drive revenue maximization efforts for all revenue streams. This includes maintaining revenue management standards, reviewing and measuring business performance against established goals, and monitoring thresholds within the forecast to ensure measurable improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze short- and long-term forecasting trends in group inventories and rates, including occupancy, goals, product line, and strategic sales goals.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing channels, key accounts, and production to ensure rate parity and effective distribution support.
  • Review future booking and evaluate trends, updating distribution channels as needed with rate or inventory restrictions.
  • Develop region-specific strategies to ensure growth, establishing benchmarks to measure performance.
  • Monitor and analyze competition weekly through various channels, identifying selling strategies and emerging trends.
  • Explore market mix variations to stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs.
  • Maintain software programs contributing to revenue management and implement tools to automate consultations and document action plans.
  • Foster a culture of revenue management throughout departments and develop succession planning for revenue management talent.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of hospitality sales, marketing, and revenue management functions, including research, planning, market positioning, and internal marketing.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in statistical and competitive analysis, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and use operational, financial, and marketing data to maintain and improve market share/penetration goals.
  • Understanding of business operations and ability to associate with departmental needs.
  • Ability to work well under deadline pressure, develop effective presentations, and quickly adapt to changing markets.
