Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to play a pivotal role in supporting enterprise data platform operations. This individual will focus on process improvement, cloud cost management, automation, and infrastructure support.

About the Role

The successful candidate will analyze workflows and processes to identify optimization opportunities, create and manage KPIs, dashboards, and reports for leadership insights, and support FinOps initiatives, including cloud cost optimization and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize business processes to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective metrics and reporting systems.
  • Support cloud cost optimization and vendor management initiatives.
  • Contribute to infrastructure operations, resiliency planning, and automation.

Required Skills:

  • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, BI, and cloud operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or R.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and FinOps practices.
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools (Power BI, Quicksight, etc.).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, IaC, and CI/CD analytics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Big data analytics platform experience.
  • Advanced FinOps or cloud cost management knowledge.
  • Utilities/Energy industry experience.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or operational excellence frameworks.
  • AWS / FinOps certifications.
