Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Application Monitoring Analyst to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot user issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes.
  • Set up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications, define and fine-tune alerts, and integrate Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling.
  • Develop a strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks, and analyse and optimise application code with respect to error handling and alerting.
  • Maintain a problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and work closely with the application and platform teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with ITIL practices and principles, and leverage ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools to drive efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in operational application management and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk, and integrating Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling.
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and frameworks.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools, and knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.
