Key Role: Senior Executive – Finance

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing reconciliations for customer and vendor ledgers, as well as inter-company transactions.

They will also review and verify supplier invoices in line with contractual agreements, and record entries in BOS financial software.

Additionally, the individual will prepare monthly MIS reports, revenue statements, and reconcile income and expenditure reports.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform reconciliations for customer and vendor ledgers, and inter-company transactions.
  2. Review and verify supplier invoices in line with contractual agreements, and record entries in BOS.
  3. Prepare monthly MIS reports, revenue statements, and reconcile income and expenditure reports.
  4. Oversee monthly billing for cargo handling and counter sales, ensuring daily/monthly BOS reconciliation.
  5. Monitor receivables, follow up with debtors, and prepare monthly ageing reports.
  6. Maintain and update financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS.
  7. Process invoices and accurately record receipts.
  8. Generate MIS reports and costing sheets for Air India GH & CH using BOS financial data.
  9. Ensure proper documentation and backup for all financial transactions.
  10. Conduct general ledger reviews and analysis.
  11. Assist auditors during financial audits and statement preparation.
  12. Deliver invoices to airline clients and submit acknowledgments to the Team.
  13. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager or department head.
  14. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and security standards in all financial operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.Com/ CA Inter with 3–7 years of relevant experience.
  • M.Com or MBA (Finance) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications and financial systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Exposure to the aviation industry is a plus.
