Job Title: Financial Specialist

 

Job Description:

 

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee financial activities, including general ledger functions and financial reporting.
  • This role involves performing daily accounting tasks such as journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and month-end closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and APAC accounting standards.
  • The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making by analyzing and summarizing account data and trends.
  • Responsibilities also include supervising accounts payable and receivable functions, maintaining inventory records, and collaborating with production teams to track costs and performance metrics.
  • In addition, the Financial Specialist will aid budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaboration with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings is required, along with ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will implement and streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy and recommend improvements to procedures.

 

The Financial Specialist will also be responsible for developing and maintaining financial dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools like Power BI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CA / Inter CA's / CPA's preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and QuickBooks Desktop
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with APAC accounting standards
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders across different regions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
