Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical support specialist to provide high-quality service support for computer systems and large format printing solutions.

The successful candidate will have experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Epson large format printers and computer systems. Strong problem-solving skills, good communication and customer service orientation are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain Epson large format printers at customer locations.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large format printers and computer systems (hardware and software).
  • Diagnostic and Preventive Maintenance: Diagnose printer faults, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve technical issues related to printing systems and peripherals.
  • Hardware and Software Support: Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, networking issues for business customers.
  • Printer Calibration and Testing: Perform calibration, alignment, and test prints to ensure optimal printer performance.
  • Service Reporting and Coordination: Maintain detailed service reports after each service visit, including issue diagnosis, resolution, and parts used. Coordinate with technical support teams and Epson service engineers for complex troubleshooting.
  • Inventory Management and Spare Parts: Manage spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed.
  • Technical Guidance and Training: Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper usage and maintenance of printers and computer systems.
  • Customer Satisfaction and Escalations: Ensure timely service response and achieve defined service KPIs. Support customer escalations and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Any degree (Engineering, Science, IT, Computer Applications, etc.).
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of large format printers (Epson preferred) or computer systems troubleshooting is a strong advantage. Good understanding of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field. Good communication and customer service orientation.
