Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day administrative, marketing, and operational activities within the region.

• Ensure effective regional operations and team handling, identifying staff requirements and reporting to the Corporate HR.

• Schedule and arrange weekly duties, at least three working days in advance, and initiate disciplinary actions against staff for any delinquency or negligence in duty.

• Conduct performance assessments of staff in consultation with HODs, submit reports to HR every three months, and maintain a fixed asset register with index numbers of items.

• Liaise with government agencies, resolve conflicts between departments/staff, and ensure timely supply of reagents/chemicals to branches.

• Monitor the use and maintenance of regional vehicles, generators/UPS, and other backup systems, and control expenses including running expenditure on electricity, petrol, telephone, fax, etc.

• Guarantee cleanliness of laboratories, including toilets and surroundings, and ensure continuous supply of water and electricity to branches and units.

• Implement safety measures to personnel/assets, propose annual targets in consultation with the Corporate Management Team, and supervise and monitor business performances on a daily basis.

• Ensure unit-wise profitability, endorse free and discount bills, and convene meetings of collection boys on a weekly basis to recover dues.

• Identify weak performance areas, take corrective steps, and ensure maximum customer satisfaction and quality maintenance procedures in all laboratories.

• Propose and start new branches, collection centers, and area operations after a proper feasibility study, and ensure timely dispatch of reports to patients and customers.

• Ensure quality standards discussion with Quality Managers and functional heads, pay regular visits to branches, and submit reports to the Corporate Management Team and Business Head.

• Promote institutional business in consultation with Marketing Departments, propose and implement adequate branding exercises, and make presentations during Management Review Meetings (MRM) on regional performances.

• Ensure adequate support and proper authorization on vouchers, ensure timely cash deposits in banks, and ensure safekeeping and transfer of cash within the region.

• Propose regional budgets in consultation with the Business Head, approve TA/DA payments, and ensure timely dispatch of monthly reports to the respective Corporate Management Team.

• Monitor pending recoveries within credit periods, and have a working awareness of ISO-15189 and NABL-112 standards.

• Arrange regular internal audits to assess and monitor departmental performances, introduce counseling of staff, and train staff to operate fire hazard equipment.
