Senior Delivery Manager

The Senior Delivery Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of services and solutions to clients. They lead and inspire their team members to reach project and personal goals, all while utilizing company vision and strategies to develop new ones when necessary.

About This Role

This is a leadership position responsible for managing larger groups of team members, which may also include leaders. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in delivery management best practices and be able to drive organization-wide strategy for delivery management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Defining Vision: Responsible for defining the vision for all delivery management activities across the organization.
  • Leadership: Manages larger groups of team members, which may also include leaders.
  • Account Management: Responsible for large complex accounts.
  • Process Governance: Leads and defines the adherence to the delivery management processes and procedures.
  • Best Practices: Exhibits advanced knowledge in delivery management best practices.
  • Project Delivery: Responsible for delivering projects and service in a highly matrixed global delivery model.
  • Account Growth: Accountable for account growth.
  • Sales Support: Assist Sales with strategic insights to the delivery of projects in the sales process.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in a field such as computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
  • MBA, relevant masters degree, or PhD expected.
Experience

You will need:

  • 10+ years of relevant Delivery experience or in related field.
  • Gained industry experience through different roles in IT support, customer service or project delivery.
  • Experience in different leadership roles.
  • Prior experience of complex project delivery processes is mandatory at this level.
  • Experience in applying agile development principles and techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience at overseeing and managing complex accounts.
