Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions using software development skills.">
  • Implement map services using GeoServer and ArcGIS Server.">
  • Tune and troubleshoot map services for optimal performance.">
  • Maintain and administer geodatabases using PostGIS and ArcGIS GeoDBs.">
  • Develop proficiency in open-source GIS software like GeoServer, PostGIS, GDAL, GeoPandas, and GeoSpark.">
  • Write code in programming languages such as Python, Java, and TypeScript.">
  • Work with ESRI APIs and tools including ArcObjects, Geoprocessing, ArcGIS Desktop/Server/Portal, and ArcGIS Online.">
  • Apply knowledge of web frameworks such as Angular, React, Node.js, and Openlayers.">
  • Administer SQL databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.">

  • Ability to analyze complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions.">
  • Ability to learn and debug large complex systems quickly.">
