The role of Geospatial Data Expert involves the collection, analysis, and interpretation of geospatial data to support informed decision-making.
- Data Collection and Management: Responsible for searching, collecting, processing, and managing large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.
- Quality Assurance: Ensures the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.
- ETL Operations: Performs ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.
- GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conducts spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborates closely with stakeholders to comprehend data requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Image Analysis: Familiarity with Image Processing Techniques.
- Working Knowledge on Imagery-Based Data Creation on Esri Platform.
- Master's Degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a Related Field.
