We are looking for a skilled Geospatial Specialist to join our team.

  • Develop and deploy scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
  • Communicate technical requirements of customer interfaces and develop architecture for implementations

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience as a GIS Developer with strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python, ArcGIS Desktop /Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Software Development: Develop, deploy and maintain connectors to connect with customer interfaces, analyze, review and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging
  2. Integration and Technical Documentation: Ensure that software can be completely integrated into the customer's system, coordinate software integration and maintain technical documentation
  3. Expert Knowledge: Expert knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • ArcGIS Desktop /Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and understanding how to build high-performance UI applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data
  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks)
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud is preferable
  • Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications
  • Writing clean code with well-defined abstractions that reduce complexity
  • Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Knowledge and Utilization of REST API and other web services for integrating
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration
  • Master's degree, GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, Related Field, or related bachelor's degree with some relevant experience
