Senior PKI Engineer

As a seasoned professional, you will design and implement robust Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing and enforcing policies, procedures, and best practices for PKI environments.

Key performance indicators for this role include:

  • Designing and implementing PKI solutions that ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Managing certificate templates and issuance policies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Performing regular audits of PKI systems and processes to maintain security and compliance.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in PKI management and implementation.
  • Proven track record in designing and setting up PKI environments, including root CAs, intermediate CAs, and policies.
  • Deep understanding of PKI concepts, cryptography, and secure key management.
  • Experience with hardware security modules (HSMs) and certificate management systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.

This role requires hands-on work with cryptographic services, ensuring the security and compliance of our PKI systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing PKI solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance. This includes designing and implementing PKI environments that ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
