Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs Leader

We are seeking an experienced public policy and regulatory affairs professional to lead our team in India.
This role requires a seasoned expert with 15 years of experience in MNCs, consultancies, government agencies or similar with a deep understanding of Indian politics and government affairs.
- The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in public policy, economics, political science or a strong business background combined with extensive knowledge of Indian politics.
- Develop strategic plans to drive business objectives and align with Indian government policies for logistics and transport solutions.
- Monitor and map public policy and regulatory issues relevant to Maersk businesses in India, prioritizing issues based on value-at-stake approach.
- Engage with key government officials, business associations, coalitions and other stakeholders to execute Maersk's government relations and public policy activities.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of infrastructure, logistics, supply chain and/or transport is considered valuable.
