
Chief Government Relations and Public Affairs Director

As a key member of our Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs team, you will contribute to business development, issue management, and mitigation of political and regulatory risks for our operations in India.
You will be responsible for monitoring and mapping public policy and regulatory issues of relevance to our business, prioritizing issues based on a value-at-stake approach, and providing expert advice to our leadership team. Additionally, you will develop advocacy strategies and execute on same to drive business objectives and align with policies of the Indian government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor national policy developments in India, including logistics, infrastructure, trade, and other relevant issues.
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies to drive business objectives and align with policies of the Indian government.
- Provide expert advice to our leadership team on public policy and regulatory issues affecting our business.
Requirements:
- 15 years of experience from a role in a MNC, consultancy, government agency or similar with public policy and government affairs in India.
- Public affairs experience from the rest of South Asia and/or Asia will be an advantage.
- A master's degree in public policy, economics, or political science, or a strong business background combined with a deep understanding of politics in India.
