Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Director to spearhead our online strategy, elevate brand visibility and drive engagement for our luxury e-commerce platform. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to devise and implement initiatives that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance sales growth, optimize costs and improve business performance in line with company objectives.
  • Craft innovative strategies and plans for business expansion and future development.
  • Guide the creation of product and pricing mix.
  • Oversee advertising and promotional strategies and activities.
  • Manage costs and overheads and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the business.
  • Engage with external agencies and authorities as necessary.
  • Review overall performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) including performance, merchandising, audit scores and manpower.
Partner Management

Liaise with 500+ brand principals to drive business based on market research and past product performance.

Brand Positioning

Define and communicate the unique value proposition of our brand, positioning us as a leader in the luxury e-commerce space.

Market Research

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities and customer preferences to inform brand strategy and identify growth opportunities.

People Skills and Leadership

Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all touchpoints. Provide mentorship, coaching and professional development opportunities to team members.

Desired skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in brand management preferably within the luxury retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, affiliate and email marketing and SEO/SEM.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling brand narratives and engage diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for luxury fashion and lifestyle.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
