Assistant Manager

Job Description:

This role is focused on supporting the Customer Marketing Manager in delivering National Sales Volume (NSV) and market share objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing customer marketing plans at an outlet level, ensuring effective brand communication, accurate measurement and evaluation, running promotion schemes, managing vendors, building capabilities, and maintaining all documentation to ensure smooth plan implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outlet Management: Conduct market research with the sales team to evaluate and finalize outlets, ensure installations and maintenance, finalize beat as per switch promotion plan, work towards development and innovation in signage elements, collate and update TSEs and TLs monthly scores, prepare and supervise contracts, and ensure accurate documentation and supervision of challans, stock registers, bills, POs, GRAs, PR, and attendance of the sales team.
  2. Brand Communication and Visibility: Help develop brand communication options at various channels, coordinate with vendors to oversee execution of signage, execute agreed visibility strategy, track and monitor visibility execution, choose outlets for implementation, and use outlets as media vehicles to drive seamless route to consumer effectiveness.
  3. Budget Coordination: Ensure accurate spend of budgets at the state level, coordinate with manpower agencies, and manage vendor relationships.
  4. Analytics: Monitor and report performance to the Customer Marketing Manager, define actionable learning for improvement, provide feedback to regional marketing teams and sales teams, and analyze competitor data.
  5. Training and Development: Train and develop third-party execution forces through on-the-job training and scheduled training calendars, induct and train promoters, and ensure alignment of the sales team with marketing activities and standards.

Requirements:

  • MBA in Sales and Marketing or relevant field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in FMCG/Alco-Bev sales.
