Expert Virtual Desktop Solutions Architect

Clients require virtual desktop solutions that are scalable, secure, and high-performance. As an Expert Virtual Desktop Solutions Architect, you will design, implement, and maintain Citrix technologies to meet these requirements.

  • Design end-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing architectures that meet scalability, security, and performance needs.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design architectures, and ensure smooth deployment and operation.\
  • Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments.\
  • Implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments.\
  • Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure secure and efficient data transfer.\
  • Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience by monitoring and tuning resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth.\
  • Implement security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.\
  • Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss, creating redundancy mechanisms, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity.\
  • Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure, identifying and troubleshooting performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems to maintain a stable and reliable environment.\
  • Create design documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing management of virtual desktop solutions.\
