Software Engineer Role
  • To achieve successful outcomes, we know that relevant experience is the most important requirement for networking teams and the people they serve.

Responsibility:

  • You will design and implement features for advanced network protocols, including BGP routing protocol, MPLS IP VPNs, and other services by working through all stages of software development lifecycle, including reviewing product requirements, writing functional and design specifications, coding, testing, and automation.
  • Closely interact with customers and product managers to understand the challenges customers face and collaborate with team members to come up with appropriate solutions.
  • The individual should be capable of innovations which need to be implemented by multiple teams to come up with a cohesive solution to help the customers achieve their goals.
  • Additional responsibilities include close interaction with test teams as well as mentoring junior members of the team to help them come up to speed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skill in C/C++/Rust languages.
  • Good understanding of Linux internals and gRPC technology.
  • Expertise in complex algorithms and data-structures and ability to use different types of tools to debug and profile complex code.
  • Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Yrs. of Experience - Several years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the flexibility to work with a globally distributed team and customer base.
