Job Description

About this role:

This position involves working with valued customers to address their complex post-sales concerns. You will enjoy networking with key contacts outside your area of expertise, detailing difficult technical issues to both non-technical and technical professionals.

You will be responsible for offering advanced-level technical assistance to top-tier customers, using fault isolation and root cause analysis skills to diagnose and tackle complicated technical issues. This includes reproducing customer issues and qualifying critical issues, responding to user-reported issues in adherence to established Service Level Agreements, and performing advanced troubleshooting at the application level and OS level.

You will work to identify the area of fault (code, environment, or configuration) and collaborate with the appropriate team(s) to implement the fix. Your expertise as a subject matter expert on core technologies of Palo Alto Networks products is essential to success in this role. You will file bug reports with the engineering team and develop test plans and best practices with Quality Assurance teams. Travel to customer sites may be required in the event of a critical situation to expedite resolution.

Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions and tunneling protocols, as well as knowledge of SD-WAN Architectures and Multi-factor Authentication Protocols, are preferred. Working knowledge of Security services and Virtualization experience are also required. Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS is a plus.
