As a Post-Silicon Test Engineer, you'll be part of an elite team responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-performance Layer 2/Layer 3 feature sets. Your expertise in software development will be crucial in creating innovative solutions that meet the needs of web scalars and service providers.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop multiple feature sets, including:

  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols
  • Control plane handling
  • Security features to protect routers from DDOS attacks

To succeed in this position, you'll need strong system-level knowledge of overall architecture and infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of relevant software development experience working with Network Operating Systems
  • 5+ years of embedded software development experience using C/C++ and/or Python
  • 3+ years of data plane experience working with NPU, DPU, or software data plane
  • 3+ years of experience in data-plane forwarding technologies such as L2, L3, VXLAN, Segment Routing, and/or MPLS
  • Experience in algorithms and data structures
  • Experience in analytical reasoning and debugging, with practical experience in using tools like GDB
  • Experience with networking protocols and technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Network Operating Systems in Linux user space
  • Experience in Control Plane, Data-Plane, and Forwarding Infrastructure
  • Strong performance tuning skills
  • Microcode programming skills in P4 or other similar network programming languages
