Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive strategic initiatives and expand our impact through new flagship programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritizing, planning, and implementing these initiatives.

This high-visibility leadership role requires a hands-on operator who can manage complex, cross-functional projects, secure partnerships, and ensure timely execution. Key responsibilities include portfolio management, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations, with a proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar programs and complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

The Director of Strategic Initiatives will work closely with the executive team, event partners, and sponsors globally to develop and implement initiatives that align with our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management
  • Prioritize initiatives based on impact, ROI, and strategic value
  • Build and maintain the phased roadmap
  • Monitor progress, risks, and ensure deliverables are on track
  • Execution & Delivery
  • Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to execute initiatives
  • Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs
  • Ensure initiatives launch on schedule
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with global policymakers, enterprise executives, event organizers, and sponsors
  • Present progress updates to leadership, sponsors, and partners
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations
  • Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar programs and complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Strong understanding of governance, emerging technologies, and AI
  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to juggle multiple initiatives
  • Experience working with corporate sponsors, government partners, or international organizations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take ownership of outcomes
