System Analyst Role

About the Position:

  • Key responsibilities include planning and executing major ERP projects from requirements to design gaps, configuration, data migration, integration, UAT, and training activities.
  • As a go-to expert in finance and project accounting modules for D365, you will identify opportunities to optimize business processes and implement system improvements.
  • Design configurable solutions instead of customizations to meet organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to apply system solutions to business problems through design and programming of D365/AX.
  • Develop new functionality and integrations with other systems to support business growth.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and end-user needs.
  • Document business requirements that can be automated using current technology to improve productivity.
  • Solve day-to-day business problems using D365 MS Dynamics AX functionality.
Requirements
  • 8+ years hands-on experience with requirements, design gaps, configuration, data migration, integration, UAT, and training activities for Dynamics AX or D365 F&O.
  • Extensive experience with localizations around VAT, fixed assets, and statutory reporting.
  • Experience migrating data from legacy systems into D365/AX and integrating third-party systems with AX/D365.
  • Strong knowledge of basic finance daily procedures and currency conversions.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and their flow in AX.
  • Proficient with Excel and data skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot within AX/D365 application and work independently.
  • Proven creative problem-solving ability and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct user training, gather requirements, unit, and regression testing for sprint and project items.
  • Set up procedures and testing methods to ensure ongoing accuracy of data maintained within all applications.
