
Health Insurance Business Development Manager

A leading health insurance organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead the agency channel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by recruiting, developing, and managing a team of financial advisors. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in sales management.
- Recruit and onboard a team of financial advisors with the required skills and experience to meet business objectives.
- Provide regular training, coaching, and guidance to ensure timely and effective sales performance.
- Conduct ongoing product training sessions to enhance knowledge and selling capabilities among the team.
- Monitor performance and mentor advisors to help them achieve their individual sales targets.
- Drive business generation through the recruited team of financial advisors.
- Support advisors with sales tools, product materials, and field assistance when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years in agency sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Strong experience in recruitment and management of sales teams (especially agents/advisors).
- Candidates from insurance, banking, or BFSI sectors preferred.
- Graduation is mandatory.
- Should have a stable career history and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
