Job Overview:

This pivotal role in our organization involves streamlining the legal review of commercial agreements and increasing efficiency for revenue/sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, maintaining accurate and compliant contract records, and building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate terms and conditions for commercial agreements according to established guidelines.
  • Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties or internally.
  • Develop creative solutions and draft alternative terms, working closely with attorneys as appropriate.
  • Obtain approval for non-standard terms in accordance with internal policies.
  • Educate internal teams on conformity and consistency in contract terms and legal obligations.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of legal administrative processes and documents.
  • Partner with internal teams to drive process improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University-level degree or equivalent with 4-6 years' experience negotiating legal terms & conditions.
  • Training or education in law, paralegal skills, negotiation, or legal writing required.
  • Familiarity with media organizations desirable.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Experience working with commercial contract management and contract law.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and apply legal principles to contracting.
  • Proficient in digital tools, document systems, and MS Office.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
