Business Intelligence Consultant Job Description

Role Overview:

The Business Intelligence Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using SAP Business Objects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions using SAP Business Objects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and test cases.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 7 years of experience in analysis, design, and development in ETL projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience as SAP Business Objects Data Services and Informatica Consultant.
  • Strong analytics/data warehouse experience using SAP Business Objects Data Services/Data Integrator 4.0 or above for data migration & data quality.
  • Experience in integrating BODS with SAP modules (SAP ECC, BW, and HANA) and non-SAP data sources.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP BW on HANA, Native HANA, SAP ECC Functional (FI, OTC).
  • Experienced in at least 2-3 large projects of SAP/non-SAP data migration roll-outs with strong SDLC knowledge including entire life cycle of analysis, design, build, test, and deployment.
  • Ability to manage a sizable team of onsite and offshore personnel and be accountable for deliverables.
