The Merger and Acquisition Manager role involves driving strategic growth by identifying targets, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring confidentiality standards. This position enhances defence capabilities and transforms India into a hub for high-tech design and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
  • Identify M&A opportunities aligned with corporate objectives
  • Conduct detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis
  • Perform financial forecasting and scenario analysis; Assess financial and operational risks associated with the transaction
  • Manage due diligence processes and create presentations for internal review
  • Lead drafting of all transaction documents and closing procedures
  • Assist in post-merger integration, ensuring synergies and operational alignment
  • Strategy & Corporate Development:
  • Develop business segment wise strategy and assess industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Support senior leadership in defining long-term business objectives and investment plan
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking
  • Prepare strategic plan and annual operating plan presentations and reports
  • Identify potential partnerships and alliances to drive business expansion
  • Monitor post-investment performance and strategic alignment with corporate objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • MBA (Finance) from Tier 1 institute / CA
  • Minimum CFA Level 2 (preferred)

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in M&A / Strategy roles

Skills:

  • Understanding of M&A processes, documentation, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with financial dataset tools (Bloomberg / Capital IQ)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
