Job Description:

The Associate Analyst role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of procurement and payment processes within an organization. This involves managing indirect procure to pay activities from start to finish, with a strong focus on SAP P2P.

Key responsibilities include generating and managing purchase orders, following up with suppliers to confirm order status and resolve past dues, and ensuring timely payment of invoices. Additionally, this role requires expertise in SCM compliance, understanding purchase requisitions, converting them into purchase orders, and authorizing requisitions properly.

  • Purchase Order Creation: Generate and manage purchase orders based on organizational needs.
  • Supplier Follow-up: Report weekly PO status and past dues to suppliers.
  • Invoice Holds: Validate on-hold invoices and address past due supplier invoices for timely payment.
  • SCM Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and financial regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, BBA, MBA, or Supply Chain Management. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in Indirect Sourcing, is required. Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) is essential. Additional certifications in supply management, such as CPSM or CSM, are preferred but not mandatory.

Other qualifications include conflict management, negotiation, market analysis, high impact communication, global exposure, and technical savvy. The candidate should also have strong knowledge of SAP MM and MS Excel.
