Oracle Apps DBA Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join our team. As an Oracle Apps DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.

You will also be responsible for monitoring application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc., establishing and maintaining backup and recovery policies and procedures, and taking care of database design and implementation.

In addition, you will implement and maintain database security, work as part of a team, and provide 24×7 support when required. You will perform general technical troubleshooting and provide consultation to development teams, interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support, perform patch management and version control, and conduct database and application tuning and performance monitoring.

Our ideal candidate has experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials, experience with Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c, and experience with Demantra Administration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
  • Monitoring application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc.

  • Perform database and application tuning and performance monitoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials.
  • Experience with Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c.
  • Experience with Demantra Administration.
  • Knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Linux scripts.
  • Oracle Access Manager integration with EBS and Demantra (a plus).
  • Wide knowledge of general database skills.
  • Knowledge in any of the following is a plus:
  • DB2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle GoldenGate
