Senior Oracle Technical Developer

As a seasoned Oracle technical developer, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into application code, documenting application specifications, and performing code reviews. You will work closely with business analysts, scrum masters, product owners, and other cross-functional resources to provide technical support and guidance.

• Application Development: Translate business requirements into application code and document application specifications.
• Code Reviews: Perform code reviews and align solutions to architectural specifications.
• Technical Support: Work with business analysts, scrum masters, product owners, and other cross-functional resources to provide technical support and guidance.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and deployment of solutions.
• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex application issues.
• Knowledge Management: Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
• Integration: Determine how existing applications, legacy systems, third-party applications, databases, web/mobile interfaces, and hardware integrate to meet new and emerging enterprise requirements.
• Component Reuse: Develop efficient methods to reuse existing components.
• Technical Knowledge: Apply thorough technical knowledge and understanding of business applications required to facilitate the development of supporting knowledge architecture and standards.
• Business Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Demonstrate ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones.
• Software Development: Design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications.
• Project Support: Provide support in configuration, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
• Documentation: Prepare Oracle functional, technical design documents, and unit test documents for related areas.

• Experience: At least 8 years of experience in IT as a software developer.
• Oracle Knowledge: Knowledge in Oracle Application Modules Revenue Management & Billing, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, and iExpenses & iProcurement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with business analysts, scrum masters, product owners, and other cross-functional resources to provide technical support and guidance.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in Oracle EBS and integrated systems.
• Programming Languages: Excellent knowledge in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Script. Experience in developing and customizing Oracle XML Publisher Reports, Bursting, Forms.
• CEMLI (RICE): Ability to work on CEMLI (RICE).
• Workflow and Business Events: Experience Oracle Workflow and Business Events and Bursting.
• WebADI and Application Framework: WebADI and Oracle Application Framework.
• Performance Tuning: Performance Tuning.
• SCM Tools: SCM tools GitHub, ADO.
• Additional Programming Languages: Expertise in other programming languages e.g. Java, Python (preferred).
• Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) Practices: Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices.
• Project Methodologies: Experience in various project methodologies e.g. Six Sigma, Waterfall, RUP, Scrum and Agile.
