Lead the Future of Travel Technology

In this exciting role as a Travel Product Lead, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our travel technology platforms. With a strong technical background and experience in product management, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for technical features and platforms related to travel booking, payments, and integrations.

We are looking for a skilled professional who can work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product design, and operations, to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. As a Technical Product Manager, you will translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the smooth execution of product roadmaps.

The Role

  • Owning the end-to-end product lifecycle for technical features and platforms related to travel booking, payments, and integrations.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to deliver features that meet business and technical goals.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
  • Collaborating with backend engineering teams to define APIs, architecture, and workflows for new travel-related features and enhancements.
  • Prioritizing and managing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and business objectives.
  • Leading the integration of third-party travel services, including airlines, hotels, and payment systems, ensuring seamless technical implementation.
  • Driving product innovation by researching emerging technologies and staying updated on trends within the travel industry.
  • Working with DevOps teams to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of travel platforms.
  • Acting as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring that technical decisions are understood and aligned with business goals.
  • Conducting technical feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects or features.
  • Developing key product performance metrics and monitoring post-launch to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a Technical Product Manager role, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Technical Background: Strong hands-on experience with backend technologies like NodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of travel technology platforms, such as GDS integrations, booking systems, payment gateways, and third-party travel APIs.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, drive technical initiatives, and deliver high-impact projects.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on delivering scalable technical solutions.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile Methodology: Hands-on experience with agile development practices and working in a Scrum or Kanban environment.

Salary and Benefits

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive health insurance, flexible working hours, and a collaborative work environment focused on innovation and growth.
