Job Role:

A seasoned Manager is sought after to lead Investment Banking Operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Trade Settlements, Cash Settlements, Commodity Settlements, Loan Syndication, Billing and Brokerage, Trade reporting, Regulatory reporting, Reference data, Corporate actions, and Security lending operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clients effectively, establish self as a trusted partner.
  • Evaluate issues promptly and escalate to client and internal managers to avoid client dissatisfaction.
  • Develop domain expertise and lead from the front.
  • Contribute to knowledge management by sharing process knowledge and best practices within the team.
Requirements

The successful candidate should possess in-depth functional knowledge of Investment Banking Operations and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions. They must identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions using logical, systematic, and sequential methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field (Finance, Business Administration, etc.).
  • 6-10 years of experience in handling teams of minimum 25 members, with good knowledge of Investment Banking Operations.
  • Ability to conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on various projects.
  • Prior experience with offshoring processes and methodologies is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Quick decision-making skills, especially in critical situations.
  • Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills, and adapt to business demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to network and build confidence among diverse client personnel and internal teams.
