Accounting Professional

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process financial transactions, such as invoices and receipts, with precision and accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy, identifying discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, reports, and summaries to inform business decisions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
  • Utilize accounting software, such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite, to perform bookkeeping tasks with ease.
  • Conduct regular audits to guarantee compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring adherence to Australian tax laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues promptly.
  • Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to support informed business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in an Australian context.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure efficient task management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.
