Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial records, efficient accounts payable management, and full compliance with tax and reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, post daily bank transactions, and manage monthly reconciliations in NetSuite
  • Record accruals, prepaids, and various other balance sheet items
  • Monitor and ensure timely filing of Sales/Use Tax returns
  • Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and 1099s via Bill.com
  • Maintain financial systems using tools like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, and CRM platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2–5 years in general accounting; AP experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in software such as NetSuite, Bill.com, QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and CRM tools
  • Knowledge of GAAP and strong attention to detail
  • Remote work experience with US clients is required
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, organized work style
  • Ability to adapt to a startup environment and evolve with changing tools and workflows
