Accounts Payable Specialist

The primary function of an Accounts Payable Specialist is to manage the company's invoice process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to suppliers. This involves daily interaction with suppliers, close collaboration with other departments, and a strong focus on attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Registration of supplier invoices
  • Daily investigation of supplier invoice disputes
  • Preparation and execution of daily, weekly, and monthly reports in Excel, highlighting open queries
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and dispute resolution
  • Archiving and filing of documents in compliance with applicable legislation
  • Collaboration with Business Development Managers, Product Specialists, and vendor/partner contacts
  • Pipeline management for opportunities within defined criteria and account base
  • Support for accounts on queries
  • Development and maintenance of working relationships with vendor personnel
  • Personal responsibility for self-development in product knowledge and job competencies, achieving set objectives

  • Solid business acumen and ability to understand and interact with customers
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications

Numerate individuals with accounting knowledge and experience in supply chain management accounting (preferably electronic industry) are highly desirable. Experience from a similar role would be an advantage.
