Research Professor Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead advanced research projects in Computer Science Engineering, leveraging expertise in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Publish original research in international journals and present at conferences, enhancing the university's reputation and profile.
  • Mentor PhD scholars and research students, guiding their research work and development, and fostering a dynamic and inclusive research environment.
  • Secure external research funding through grants, consultancy, and collaboration with industry partners, promoting interdisciplinary research and partnerships.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote research culture, exchange ideas, and advance knowledge in the field.
  • Provide expert advice on research policy, strategy, and development within the department and university, ensuring alignment with academic goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to academic leadership, participating in research-focused committees and initiatives, and shaping the research agenda.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in research, teaching, or industry, with a proven track record of excellence in research and leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale research projects, secure funding, and supervise doctoral research scholars.
  • Strong expertise in key areas, excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, and a commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive research environment.
