Job Title

Overview:

The End User Computing Controls, Governance role is part of the Operational Risk and Control Team. The team oversees and drives risk reduction, investigating, developing, and implementing enhancements to pre and post-trade processes.

This is a non-technical role focusing on risk assessment and control, not software development. The End User Computing Champion integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.

The analyst will contribute to overall risk reduction of manual processes in Global Markets, interacting directly with Traders and Markets and Operations Teams that support them.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and inventorizing End User Computing tools used across Global Markets.
  • Leading and participating in Spot-Check Reviews of each End User Computing solution, providing credible challenge for risk assessments made and effective operation of controls.
  • Ensuring EUC population compliance with standards by supporting production of reports or acting on upcoming and overdue items.
  • Measuring Citi's EUC risk exposure to ensure solutions are not relied upon over the longer term.
  • Collaborating with Owners to identify potential technology solutions which can replace manual processes and ultimately eliminate the need for the EUC.
  • Partnering with different teams across geographies and monitoring commitments to reduce reliance on End User Computing solutions.

Qualifications include relevant experience in Operations, Risk, and Controls, Finance, or Project Management within an international bank or prominent financial services firm. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification, good analytical skills, ability to multi-task, strong attention to details, and leadership skills are required.
