Job Title: Risk Data Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Risk Data Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of risk data, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality assurance checks on counterparty credit risk data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Validate figures against prior month's data and business forecasts.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the review process.
  • Navigate complex algorithms and perform root cause analysis to identify and address exposure calculations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and analytics to support finance and risk teams on risk and regulatory topics.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on regulatory metrics.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements such as ECB, CRR, CRD, and Basel 3/3.1.
  • Understanding of exposure calculation under different models such as SA-CCR and IMM.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques including Monte Carlo simulation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Experience in process change management and team leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
