- They will also have knowledge of attack types and standard protocol behavior to classify incidents and provide advice on mitigation or remedial actions.
- Identification of incidents and subsequent analysis and investigation to determine their severity and the response required.
Key Responsibilities:
The Security Analyst is responsible for:
- Security analysis, incident classification, investigation, and incident response actions.
- Monitoring customer environments for possible security incidents.
- Ensuring that incidents are correctly reported and documented.
