About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python QA Engineer to fill this challenging position. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, test automation frameworks, and Agile processes.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python programming language.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to create robust, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
  • Perform API testing and validate backend services using Python-based tools.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Perform root cause analysis to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure high test coverage and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6–12 years of total experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Python programming language.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
  • Solid experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Requests library, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
