Senior Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Specialist to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing strategies, plans, and data.

  • Develop Comprehensive Testing Strategies: Create thorough test strategies and plans to ensure complete coverage of automation testing.
  • Maintain Automation Test Data: Keep automation test data up-to-date and ensure it is accurately reflected in the testing framework.
  • Execute Automated Tests: Execute automated tests and manage defect logs through validation.
  • Ensure Test Environments: Ensure appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up-to-date.
  • Identify and Report Issues: Identify and report questionable functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies to product teams.
  • Document and Mentor QA Engineers: Document and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework.
  • Assist in Tool Selection: Assist in the identification, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the overall QA process.
  • Contribute to Time Estimates: Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Defect Management: Possess knowledge of Defect Management, Bug life cycle, Performance management, and strong SQL skills and/or data validation.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Capabilities: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a willingness to pitch ideas and test new approaches.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills, with experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
