Electronics Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of high-voltage design, mixed-signal systems, FPGA development, and timing, beam control, data acquisition, and power integrity.

About This Role

You will be responsible for delivering the electronics that make the instrument feel instant and synchronized: a common timing spine, responsive beam control, low-noise power, and lossless, high-throughput data capture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design the timing and synchronization backbone so optics, detectors, motion, and software operate in lockstep.
  • Build mixed-signal boards: beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  • Ensure clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for quiet images and strong electromagnetic compatibility behavior.
  • Provide diagnostics, fixtures, and logs so issues are obvious and field-debuggable.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a track record of shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics gear. You should also have strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up; be pragmatic about testability and manufacturability. Collaboration and documentation-mindedness are essential. You think in interfaces and failure modes.
