As a seasoned collection manager, you will oversee accounts receivable within an organization, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts from customers or clients. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work closely with the Accounting Department and collection agent to develop effective strategies for collecting outstanding debts.

The role requires monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments and determining appropriate actions. You will communicate with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes. Additionally, you will coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree may be preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly as they relate to accounts receivable and collections.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data and trends.
  • Familiarity with collection software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
